7 Criteria in the project selection process!

 1.The priority of the Business - This is the most important factor to consider when choosing a project. You must determine whether the company can take on this project based on the internal and external environment. Will the project be beneficial to the company? Is it possible for the organisation to fund this project? Is it a high-priority number for the organisation to consider as a project? etc.



  2. Customer satisfaction - Is the project going to be completed according to the customer's specifications? Is there a way for the company to benefit from this customer? Is the company able to learn and execute the project in a way that meets the customer's expectations? Is it possible to keep the customer for a longer period of time? These are the types of questions that should be asked when dealing with customers. This is the second criterion that must be met when choosing a project. 3.       Resource availability - Before deciding on a project, we must determine whether the organisations can provide project staff and whether the necessary equipment is available or can be procured to begin and complete the project. Etc.

4.       Timelines - The organization's next criterion will be whether the deadlines can be met in order to complete the project on time. When it comes to project selection, time is a crucial factor. Is this the best time to choose a specific project at this time, and so on?

5.       Profit and benefits - Is the project we're considering contributing to organisational growth in terms of profit, return on investment, and other intangible benefits like reputation, positivity, becoming the market leader and beating the competition, and so on? Profit in terms of money and value added is an important criterion for the company to meet.

6.       Required information availability - This step is critical to consider for project selection because it determines whether the organisation has the technical depth, functional depth, and requirements clarity needed to select and complete the project. If these parameters aren't available, we won't be able to finish the project on time, on budget, and within the scope.
