What are the difference between CAPM and PMP certification

In twenty-first-century management is such a sector where job opportunities are increasing. There are several job options that are related to projects related to business. As CAPM is the basic course for the project management, the syllabus and the exam pattern is quite easy compared with the other courses. The questions of the CAPM exam often come from the guideline book for the CAPM course. So, the candidates easily pass the CABM exam and get certified. Besides, as PMP is a tough course and the experience is needed for the course, the exam process is not so easy for the candidates. Moreover, there are many problem-based questions candidates need to solve from their experience. So, passing the CAPM exam and achieving CAPM certification is comparatively easy than PMP certification.
  • Though both CAPM and PMP are the courses for project management the benefits of the two courses are different. From the CAPM course, you can take the basic knowledge of project management that will help you to pursue the career latter on with a certification. PMP course will help you to get a worldly identity as a successful project manager. The cost of these two courses is different. As the CAPM is for the fresher and mostly the students, the cost of the course is lower compared with the other courses. On the parallel, PMP certification has a global value and only the experienced candidates can opt for the course. So, the course fee is higher than the other project management courses. So, to take PMP Exam Prep you need to spend much money than CAPM.
