A great project manager is those which not only take the
initiative, but also inspire and influence other’s behavior, attitude, and
thoughts. A great project manager sees the potential and raises positivity,
where they challenge themselves as well as others. Most importantly, they
follow through their words and effectively demonstrate their actions. Without these
and the practices you gain through your PMP Exam prep and other project
management experience, a project manager loses credibility and trust – and can no
longer lead by example.
How to
effectively lead by example?
Be the first to help solve problems and make errors. As a
PMP, your actions and the actions of your team must be open and responsible.
They must be willing to work with more people because they know they can trust
them. You are becoming a valuable asset and this provides a strong base for
manipulating others. Do not hesitate to try again if the first time it does not
work out. Do not hold or retain. Do not
hold back or reverse. Don't let the idea
describe obstacles. Please share the difficulties faced by the squad and
promote the same place for any new challenges.
Be the first to offer suggestions and assistance to your
project team. You can't dwell on the bad
or cause issues to get dealt with and become barriers as a project
manager. Encourage thoughts. And work to build more from others to develop
solid plans for development. Seek perspectives and ask questions, remain open
to new ideas. As a PM, you must create a climate and environment in all the
working groups for open communication and promote positive and meaningful
discourse. Stay physically and mentally healthy to hold work and personal life
happy. Therefore, promote and fully
support everybody. Don't labor to death
for yourself and wait for others to do so.
Encourage all to work, but also to take time out of their work lives.
