For professionals employed as project managers, CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) and PMP (Project Management Professional) are two of the most widely sought after qualification courses. If it's the CAPM course or the PMP Certification, all have their benefits in terms of certification's long-term relativity and have a huge influence on your career advancement.

Although CAPM (Certified Project Management Associate) is for the fresh blood, PMP (Project Management Professional) is for project managers who have been in the field for a few years now and have extensive experience under their belt.

• You should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and 7500 hours of experience as a project manager for diploma holders.
• You should have at least 3 years of experience and 4500 hours of experience as a project manager for bachelor's degree holders.
• You should have completed the PMBoK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) 35-hour study programme.
