Who qualifies for the CAPM & PMP Certification?

If you are already working in the management field or are eager to step up, having a certificate for project management is a good way to leverage your expertise using continuing education. Both offline and online, there is a final amount of services available that have puzzled people more. All sorts of certificates are available, from courses for beginners to programmes that will help you advance your career in project management.

You must all have learned about the Project Management Institute (PMI), however, which is internationally recognised and considered to be one of the best institutes that offers aspiring learners all types of programmes. PMP Certification (Project Management Professionals) and CAPM Certification are among all the prominent and common ones (Certified Associate in Project Management).

What are the requirements for qualifying for the CAPM exam?

This is the right option for you if you are more dedicated to handling larger projects and want to acquire more responsibility or apply certain abilities to your current job.

CAPM Exam requirements:

  • You must have a diploma from high school, an associate's degree, or the global equivalent.
  • Before you sit for the test, you should have 23 hours of project management training completed.
  • Agreeing with both codes of conduct.
  • Accepting all the rules and legislation.

However, you can register for the CAPM Training if you want to pass the exam at the first attempt.

What are the PMP exam requirements?

When employers pursue excellence, being a licenced holder can show that you have unique skills and expertise that industries and businesses are searching for. There are two sets of specifications, see which set you qualify.

First set of Prerequisites:

  • It is a must to get a four-year diploma.
  • Experience of 36 months of heading programmes, i.e. 3 years.
  • The 35 hours of project management education you should have done.

The second set of pre-conditions:

  • You must have a diploma from high school, an associate's degree, or a global equivalent.
  • Experience of 60 months of leading programmes, that is, 5 years.
  • The 35 hours of project management education you should have done.

Therefore, completing the CAPM Training or becoming a licenced holder will take you steps forward on the road of success wherever you are in your career.
