For project managers who have been in the field for a few years now, PMP stands for Project Management Professional and is a professional level course. Project managers are willing to get PMP accredited and go for more multinational ventures searching for better possibilities and higher pay.
ECBA is an entry level credential for business analysts and stands for Entry Certificate in Business Analysis. In order to assess your understanding of the core values and practises of the profession and your understanding of management and business along with your analytical capacity, ECBA certification checks your fundamentals and your basic knowledge of the BABOK (Business Research Body of Knowledge). It can be a big boost to the career of budding company analysts to get ECBA accredited.
Can you get certified by PMP?
PMP exam prep is possible for individuals from both groups, whether you are a college graduate or a high school diploma holder. To ensure that you meet the requirements and have completed the 35 hour PMBoK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) study programme, all you need to do is get PMP certified.
As a project manager, a college graduate must have at least 3 years of work experience and 4500 hours and must have leadership projects during that time span. Likewise, holders of a high school diploma must have 5 years of work experience and 7,500 hours as a project manager and project leader.
Do you have what it takes to be accredited under the ECBA?
ECBA certification requires that you be prepared to meet all of the evaluation standards and meet the examination eligibility criteria. You must also have basic knowledge of the BABOK guide, in addition to the 21 professional development hours required for you to be qualified.
Register your account on the IIBA first to begin your training, and get down and review your copy of the BABOK guide. In the last 4 years, you must also make sure that the 21 professional development hours have been registered.
