Project managers are famous and can solve bigger projects within a short span of time. If you think that they have done it with the help of a PMP Course certification, then you are wrong. The only reason behind their success is the work which has certain qualities. A work without quality cannot give you success and will always result in failure.
It cannot be possible with only one person the team members also has to have a little bit of contribution. This contribution has to come mostly from the new project managers who are in the learning stage. But rather than contributing they always try to remain a backbencher and think that everything would be easily done.
Just
erase these thoughts as you should know that you are a part of their team, and
you need to remain more active. Still, you think that it is a joke then here
are the consequences of becoming a backbencher.
- People will
take you as a coward- The very first thing is that
after becoming a backbencher people will take you as a coward. This way,
they will treat you casually and think that you are good for nothing.
Believe it or not, but for this particular reason, even the new IIBA Certification business analysts never want to become a backbencher.
- No one will
give you bigger projects- Once you get
habituated of being a backbencher, then no one will give you bigger
projects. Remember, bigger projects are the best options which can take
you forward to achieve your goals. Without taking up bigger projects,
nothing would be possible, and you will always land up in
difficulties.
- Your dreams would remain as it is- Before being a project manager, you have dreamt of something in order to achieve them. If you always want to remain at the back, then these dreams are nothing but just a waste. So you have to utilize your dreams by being at the front and provide some fresh ideas.
Therefore, being in the same position is not the solution one day, you have to become a project manager. For this thing, you have to focus and make others feel your presence.
